Donald Featherstone Wargaming Campaigns

Reviews

Presentation is excellent, good cover, nicely laid out book. Photos are understandable a little below modern standards as are the maps, but heh this is history!

The general chapters on the conduct of a campaign were good and contained some interesting ideas, particularly the matchbox technique. One I suspect I will use (what do you do with all the matches?!) The individual chapters outlining specific campaigns I found a little repetative and I often found myself scanning through them for innovitive/forgotten techniques such as the matchbox. I am hoping to run a small Boer war campaign and as such that chapter was of immediate interest to me. I suspect I will return to the other chapters over time as needs and wants arise.

On the whole I enjoyed the book and applaud you for your efforts in publishing these books. I expect I will purchase another soon.
