Science Fiction Weapons

One of the problems in SF gaming is coming up with realistic futuristic weapons that are not just upgrades of existing rifles, machine guns and grenades. As the armies of the future try to minimize casualties, what about these alternatives?

The Stun Gun fires a laser sight that fires two darts that can penetrate thick clothing. The darts administer a 50,000 volt electric pulse that can stun victims. Range 10 metres. Voltages can be increased to lethal levels.

Spider man web gun the cartridge fires from a gas propelled gun. The reinforced silk web expands to envelop the target. The target is entangled and immobilized. Range 35 metres.

Glue Gun The sub machine gun fires compressed glue that expands 30 times upon impact. The target is immobilized in less than 5 seconds. Range 10 meters.

Electrified spray the size of a household aerosol, it sprays just like one. The only difference is the foam spray it contains is electrified. Range 10 meters.

The Ray gun vehicle mounted gun that fires bursts of non-lethal electromagnetic energy that causes a burning sensation on any exposed skin. The target cannot look at the ray gun. Range 700 metres.

Science Fiction Weapons? Oops, I meant to say that the first three weapons are now operational (as in for sale) the latter two are merely being tested.
